Great photo capture of a memorable pre-season friendly between Rangers and Falkirk, which ended in a 1-1 stalemate at Falkirk Stadium. This image brings back memories of previous seasons as legendary Rangers goalkeeper, Roy Carroll, bid farewell to the Ibrox faithful in his testimonial match. Carroll, who spent eight successful years at Rangers between 1997 and 2005, was the star of the show on this occasion. The Northern Irish international kept a clean sheet for the first half, making several impressive saves to keep Falkirk at bay. However, the home team equalized early in the second half through a stunning free-kick, leaving the crowd on the edge of their seats as both teams pushed for a winner. Despite the pressure, Carroll continued to perform heroically, denying Falkirk numerous opportunities to take the lead. The game ended all square, with Carroll receiving a standing ovation from the Rangers supporters as he was substituted in the final minutes. The testimonial match was a fitting tribute to a player who had given so much to the club during his time at Ibrox.
