In a heartwarming and emotional tribute, former Rangers footballer Fernando Ricksen was paraded to the adoring crowd at Ibrox Stadium during the Scottish League One match against Brechin City on January 11, 2014. The Dutch defender, who won the Scottish Premier League title and Scottish Cup with Rangers in 2003, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2013 and has since become an inspiration to many with his courage and determination in the face of adversity.
