In this evocative photograph, the crestfallen expression on the face of Steven Davis as he walks off the pitch at McDiarmid Park tells a story of defeat and disappointment. The date was December 12, 2009, and Rangers Football Club were visiting St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premier League. The home team had just handed the Gers a 4-1 defeat, a result that would prove to be a turning point in the season. The atmosphere was electric that day as St. Johnstone, the underdogs, looked to upset the form book against the reigning champions. The home side took the lead through a Gary Miller goal in the first half, but Rangers equalized through Davis just before the break. However, the second half belonged to St. Johnstone.
