No. 3408, originally named Ophir, was one of the earliest members of this class. Its distinctive design, featuring a Belpaire firebox and outside frame construction, made it an efficient and powerful addition to the GWR fleet. The locomotive's impressive dimensions include a length of 52 feet 3 inches and a weight of 65 tons. In 1907, the locomotive was renamed Killarney, a name it would keep until its retirement from service.
