In this evocative photograph, Rangers defender Declan John proudly gazes out at the Firhill Stadium crowd as he prepares to make his first start for the club in a Betfred Cup Quarterfinal match against Partick Thistle. The Welsh international, who joined Rangers on loan from Cardiff City in the summer of 2018, had made substitute appearances in his previous two outings for the Glasgow giants.
