Great moment captured in this iconic print by renowned Scottish football photographer Lynne Cameron: Rangers manager Walter Smith celebrating a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Motherwell in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League at Ibrox during the 2007-08 season. Smith, who had taken over the managerial reins at Rangers in 1991, had led the team through numerous ups and downs over the years. But this particular match, played on a cold and rainy December afternoon, was a true test of character and resilience for the Light Blues. Motherwell, who were known for their tenacious defending and counter-attacking football, had given Rangers a tough time throughout the match. The visitors had numerous opportunities to take the lead, but the Rangers defense, led by the experienced duo of David Weir and Marvin Andrews, held firm. As the clock ticked down, it seemed that the match was destined for a goalless draw. But in the dying moments of injury time, Rangers striker Kris Boyd latched onto a through ball and coolly slotted the ball past Motherwell goalkeeper Darren Randolph to snatch a dramatic victory for the home side.
