Old Bill's tenure as the ship's mascot began in earnest, and he proved to be a steadfast companion through the trials and tribulations of war. He witnessed the historic Battle of Jutland and other significant engagements, bringing morale and a sense of normalcy to the crew amidst the chaos of battle.
