"Frighten: A Glimpse into the Realm of Fear and Terror" In Manus Tuas Domine. This haunting painting by Briton Riviere, created in 1879, captures the essence of fear as a man finds himself at the mercy of an unknown force. Deux meres (Two Mothers) by Leon-Maxime Faivre in 1888 portrays a mother's terror when her child goes missing. The raw emotion depicted on her face sends shivers down your spine. Leech Cartoon Dinosaurs - these prehistoric creatures may have long been extinct, but their terrifying presence still manages to frighten us even from beyond time. A bird of prey sticker on a window serves as a chilling reminder that danger lurks just outside. Its purpose is to prevent birds from flying into the window, but it also instills unease with its predatory image. Nichiren Calming the Storm by Utagawa Kuniyoshi showcases how even amidst chaos and turmoil, there is always hope for tranquility. It reminds us that fear can be conquered with inner strength and resilience. Skull and Crossbones - Inverted or not, this symbol has long been associated with danger and death. Its mere sight sends chills down our spines, reminding us of our own mortality. The Feathered Fair in a Fright takes us back to the 18th century when people found amusement in witnessing animals being frightened for entertainment purposes. Today we recognize such acts as cruel but are reminded of humanity's dark past. Starting a new job can be intimidating; getting to know people becomes an important part of overcoming those initial fears. Embrace new connections and conquer your apprehensions. Carhampton Apple Tree stands tall yet eerie against an ominous sky. Its twisted branches seem almost menacing, evoking feelings of unease within anyone who gazes upon it. A tragic masked ball held in 1930 remains etched in our memories.
