In this evocative photograph, the dejected expression on the face of Sasa Papac speaks volumes about the outcome of the Scottish Premier League (SPL) match between St. Johnstone and Rangers in the 2009-10 season. The Serbian international defender, then a key figure in the Rangers defense, looks on in disbelief as his team succumbs to a 4-1 defeat at the hands of their Scottish rivals. The match, played at McDiarmid Park in Perth, was a turning point in the season for both teams. St. Johnstone, who were then considered underdogs, put in a stellar performance, with four goals coming from the boots of Steven MacLean, Steven Anderson, and two from David Wotherspoon.
