This electrifying photo captures the thrill of the 2-1 victory for Rangers over Celtic on March 16,2003. The Old Firm Derby, as this highly-anticipated match is known, is a Scottish footballing institution, and this encounter between the two arch-rivals did not disappoint. In the foreground, Rangers midfielder Mikel Arteta stands triumphantly, his face a picture of elation, as he lifts the ball aloft after scoring the decisive goal. The Spanish international's cool finish in the 77th minute put Rangers in the lead, a position they would not relinquish. Behind Arteta, a sea of blue and white scarves and shirts fill the stands, the passionate Rangers supporters celebrating their team's hard-fought victory. The atmosphere in Ibrox Stadium was electric, and the noise from the terraces could be felt long after the final whistle.
