Prince George (later King George V) and Princess Mary of Teck on their wedding day, 6th July 1893. The Duke and Duchess of York, as they were known, were married at St Jamess Palace. The Duke wore naval uniform with the Collar of the Order of the Garter. His bride wore a dress of rich white satin brocaded with silver and trimmed with Honiton lace and orange blossom. She carried a large bouquet of white flowers including roses, orchids and orange blossom.
