Filippo Bonanni Collection

Filippo Bonanni was an Italian Jesuit and scientist who lived during the 17th century. He was a prolific author, writing books on topics such as mathematics, astronomy, philosophy, and natural history. He also wrote several treatises on music theory and acoustics. His most famous work is Saggio di Musica Theoretica Practica (1711), which is considered to be one of the earliest comprehensive works on musical theory.
