"This stunning photograph captures the moment Maurice Edu made his Celtic debut against Rangers in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League at Celtic Park during the 2010-2011 season. The American international midfielder, who had joined Celtic from Rangers earlier that summer, was greeted with a hero's welcome by the home fans as he took to the pitch in the iconic green and white hoops. The atmosphere was electric as the two Old Firm rivals faced off in what was expected to be a fiercely contested match. But it was Celtic who dominated from the outset, with Edu playing a pivotal role in midfield. In the 35th minute, Gary Hooper put Celtic ahead with a cool finish, and Anthony Stokes added a second just before halftime. The second half saw Rangers push for a way back into the game, but Celtic's defense held firm, with Edu putting in a man-of-the-match performance. In the 85th minute, Hooper sealed the deal with a third goal, ensuring a triumphant 3-0 victory for Celtic.
