Great photo capturing a pivotal moment in the Dundee United vs Rangers match during the 2009-10 Clydesdale Bank Premier League season. In this image, Rangers' striker Kris Boyd is seen being fouled in the box by a Dundee United defender during the first half of the game. The referee has yet to make a call, leaving both teams and the fans on edge. Boyd, a prolific goalscorer for Rangers at the time, was a constant threat to Dundee United's defense throughout the match. His ability to read the game and find space in the opposition's box made him a formidable opponent. In this instance, his quick thinking and agility were put to the test as he attempted to get on the end of a through ball. The defender, desperate to prevent Boyd from scoring, lunged in with a last-ditch tackle, bringing down the Rangers striker inside the box. The crowd roared in protest, believing that a penalty should have been awarded. The referee, however, remained unmoved, much to the frustration of the Rangers players and fans.
