In this poignant photograph, taken by acclaimed sports photographer Kirk O'Rourke, the emotional tribute to former Rangers Football Club player Fernando Ricksen comes to a close at Ibrox Stadium. The Dutch international, who spent five successful years at the Scottish club between 2000 and 2005, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2013, leaving the football community heartbroken. The tribute match, organized by Rangers FC in collaboration with various football stars and celebrities, aimed to raise awareness and funds for the Fernando Ricksen Foundation, an organization set up to support individuals and families affected by Motor Neurone Disease.
