September 2003: A Momentous Victory for McLeish's Rangers at Ibrox This evocative photograph captures the jubilation of Rangers Football Club's players and fans as they celebrate a hard-fought 2-1 victory over German powerhouse VfB Stuttgart in the UEFA Cup group stage. The scene at Ibrox Stadium is electric, with the sea of blue and white scarves and shirts creating a vibrant backdrop to the action. At the heart of it all is Rangers manager Alex McLeish, who led his team to this momentous triumph. McLeish had only taken over the reins at Ibrox earlier that year, and this victory was a significant statement of intent for his tenure.
