Anita Leslie, born in 1900, was a prolific English novelist and playwright, best known for her work in romantic fiction and her memoir, "An Unsuitable Address." Margery Lawrence (1887-1969), a master of suspense and mystery, penned numerous novels, including "The Secret House" and "The Monogram Murders." Helen Simpson, born in 1949, is a contemporary British writer, whose works span various genres such as short stories, novels, and poetry. Aime Francois Tschifelly, born in 1902, was a French-American novelist and playwright, known for her works in both English and French.
