This historic photograph captures the moment Novo scored Rangers' first goal in a friendly match against Chelsea at Ibrox Stadium on August 4, 2005. Novo, a Spanish striker, joined Rangers in the summer of 2005 and quickly made an impact on the team and its fans. In this image, Novo (second from right) is seen celebrating with his teammates after netting the opening goal in front of the jubilant home crowd. The goal came in the 33rd minute and gave Rangers a 1-0 lead, which they held until the final whistle.
