Elevation of the Ancient Gate of Justice, 19th century, (1907). Decoration and Arabic inscription in the palace of the Alhambra, Granada, Spain, which mainly dates from the 14th century. The Gate of Justice, forming the grand entrance to the Alhambra, was built in in 1348 by Yusuf I, Nasrid ruler of the Emirate of Granada in Al-Andalus on the Iberian Peninsula.
