"The Evolution of Beer: From Tithes to Traditions" Step back in time to the 15th century, where the Bishop of Tournai receives his tithe of beer, a symbol of the importance and popularity this beverage held even then. Engraved in history, this depiction showcases the significance of beer barrels as a form of currency. Fast forward to 1828 at Covent Garden Theatre, where "The Caution" is exercised amidst lively performances. As actors tread the boards, patrons indulge in pints from wooden casks - an integral part of theater culture that has endured for centuries.
