The Railway Hotel, located at CT14 7RL, was a cherished part of the Walmer community for many decades. According to the back of the print, the pub had a trading record dating back to 1950, with the last entry being made in 1963. However, sadly, by July 2018, the pub had reportedly closed its doors permanently and was later demolished in 2017. The 1950s were a golden era for British pubs, and this photograph is a testament to the character and charm of the Railway Hotel during that time.
