This is at la Breche d Hermanville just off Sword Beach. The ship was sunk by a German torpedo on D-Day and the anchor was retrieved by the French Navy in the summer of 2003

"From the treacherous waters of WW1 to the heroic battles of WW2, the torpedo has left its mark in history. The HMS Tipperary, a British destroyer leader, valiantly sailed through perilous seas during World War In 1941, the Fairey Swordfish Torpedo-Bomber took flight and became a symbol of bravery in the Second World War.
