In Spain's Pyrenees region during January, an adult Lammergeier was spotted proudly carrying a carcass bone in its beak. Its distinctive appearance with a tufted beard adds to its allure and earned it the name "Bearded Vulture. " This particular sighting highlights how this rare species thrives in mountainous areas like Spain's Pyrenees. But Spain is not the only place where you can catch a glimpse of these majestic creatures and can also be found in France, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Africa - truly spanning across continents.
